Your information.
Handled with care.
This notice explains how TriPact uses information from this website, enquiries and the optional launch list.
Updated 6 October 2026.
Who looks after your information
TriPact is operated by David Gilliland trading as TriPact, who is responsible for how the personal information described here is used. For privacy questions or requests, email david@tripact.app.
When you contact us
We use the name, email address and message you provide to answer your enquiry and manage any follow-up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact TriPact and managing those conversations. Please avoid including medical details or other sensitive information in a website enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
When you request launch updates
With your consent, we use your email address and a record of your signup permission to send news about the app’s launch and availability. You confirm your address through an email before joining the list. This is optional and does not automatically subscribe you to a weekly newsletter.
You can withdraw permission at any time using the unsubscribe link in a launch email or by emailing david@tripact.app. Squarespace’s unsubscribe link removes you from all TriPact mailing lists hosted on this website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
Website technologies
Essential website technologies help operate and secure the site. With your permission, Squarespace analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use it. Choose Accept all, Decline all or Manage cookies in the banner, and change your choice through Cookie Preferences. Optional cookies controlled by Squarespace are restricted until you consent. The detailed visitor activity log is switched off.
Google reCAPTCHA protects forms against spam and abuse. It may process technical information about your device and interaction to provide that protection. We use this for our legitimate interest in keeping the website and forms secure.
The free Pact checklist works in your browser. Its checkboxes are temporary: they do not send your answers to TriPact or save them as a Pact or an app account.
Services that help us
Squarespace hosts the website, stores website form submissions and the launch list, and handles signup confirmation emails. Its email service is the planned service for launch updates. Enquiry notifications are delivered to the operator’s Google email account. Google also provides reCAPTCHA protection.
These services may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Squarespace explains its international transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum. Google explains its safeguards in its data transfer frameworks and, for services covered by its cloud terms, its Cloud Data Processing Addendum. These describe applicable adequacy arrangements and contractual safeguards. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry information while needed to answer your enquiry, deal with follow-up questions or resolve a related issue. Launch-list information is kept while needed to deliver the launch and availability updates you requested. When that purpose ends, the launch-only list is closed unless you separately choose another type of update.
We may retain limited consent and opt-out records where needed to demonstrate your choices and prevent unwanted emails. Information is removed when no longer needed for these purposes, except where a legal obligation or unresolved claim requires it to be kept.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your personal information or to correct it. Depending on the circumstances, you may also request deletion, restriction or portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing, and withdraw launch-email consent at any time. Contact david@tripact.app to make a request.
Providing enquiry details or joining the launch list is optional. Without contact details, we may be unable to reply; without your email and permission, we cannot send launch updates.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can contact us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
